contraction joints sealed with Instant Seal 101
In Nationwide Concrete Flooring’s long experience the best way to seal saw cut induced contraction joints is by using Instant Seal 101, and indeed Nationwide uses nothing else on its concrete floor slabs.
The photograph shows 12 month old joints that we inspected as part of our after sales package. As you can see they are in perfect condition despite being heavily trafficked.
Not only does Instant Seal 101 help against debris ingress into the joint but it also protects the arris edge of the concrete floor slab from breaking down under trafficking. This feature not only improves the aesthetic features but also minimises long term maintenance expenditure for the client/end user/contractor.

Nationwide Diamond Contracts were contacted directly by a prestigious German engine manufacturer regarding the initial concrete floor surveying and grinding works to the internal warehouse concrete floor slab.

concrete grinding to remove flue on floor
As you can see from the photographs the client had already installed the racking system and measurements were required only within the aisles for the defined movement of the forklift. Once Nationwide Diamond Contracts had carried out the survey of the concrete floor within the aisles a report was sent to the client to ascertain the concrete floor slab grinding required.
The concrete floor slab grinding commenced the following day due to the urgent time scale of the client. Two days later all the remedial floor grinding had been completed, the floor was re sealed and ready for use.
