Instant Seal 101
Joint Sealant Instant Seal 101
Instant Seal 101 is an expandable joint filler and cap used to seal expansion joints on both internal and external concrete floor slabs. It is composed of two materials: a flexible elastoplastic material and a semi rigid elastoplastic material.
Its special balloon shape enables it to maintain its position without coming out or dropping down into the joint.
It can be supplied in a variety of sizes depending on the size of the cutting disc.
- Item C550A: 3.4 mm for 2.4 mm discs
- Item C550B: 3.8 mm for 2.8 mm discs
- Item C550C: 5.2 mm for 3.2 mm discs
- Item C550E: 5.8 mm for 3.8 mm discs
- Item C550G: 6.0 mm for 4.2 mm discs
The sealant is available in the following colours: black, grey, red, yellow and blue.

Nationwide Diamond Contracts carries out joint sealant work
Approximately 7,000 Linear metres of Instant Seal 101 joint sealant was installed by Nationwide Diamond Contracts at the Sainsbury’s Distribution Centre in East Kilbride, near Glasgow.
As you can see from the photographs the conditions were not ideal as the client immediately trafficked the sealant works within minutes of completion. This added to the weather conditions complicated the job for Nationwide Diamond Contracts.
External Concrete Floor Slab Construction Joints
Fortunately our Instant Seal 101 can be installed in the wet as the product automatically bonds to the joints. The project was completed within in 3 week period leaving the client very satisfied with the work Nationwide Diamond Contracts have completed.
